On behalf of the whole team at Werra Foxma, welcome to the WFR SubClub!
We were faced with saying no to a lot of amazing stuff in 2021. Ali, our head of A&R, was left with the unenviable task of having to turn away some incredible work, mainly due to the fact that our 2022 schedule filled up pretty quickly, leaving no room for further releases. While the easy fix would be just to release more music through the label, it would not have been fair to our fans and followers, least of all the artists, if we decided to turn the spigot wide open. It’s our belief that releases need time between each other in order for the necessary promotional work to be done, and to prevent release fatigue for the amazing people like yourself who support the label.
So a solution presented itself during regular WFR team communication around late summertime.
A subscription club.
A service such as this allows producers to release their amazing music with the same care and attention for which WFR artists are accustomed to. The 2022 SubClub roster is really something to behold, and the all new Werra Foxma magazine will focus on 3 artists per issue so you can find out more about the musicians in question.
Our commitment to SubClub members who choose the physical tier will be to receive a minimum of one album per month, either on CD or cassette, a SubClub enamel membership badge, and a copy of the quarterly WFR magazine, sent every 3 months. There may be the odd surprise here and there which will be subscriber dependant, such as lathe cut 7” singles and EPs, and other physical items and merch. The digital tier will receive the digital versions of all SubClub releases, and a PDF version of the WFR magazine every 3 months. Subscribers will also benefit from selected special offers on Werra Foxma Records releases.
There will also be interviews and bonus content exclusive to SubClub members as the year rolls out, as we speak face to face with artists on both WFR and SubClub rosters in order to give our members substantial content throughout the year.
We hope that you are as excited as we are to bring you some of the most amazing electronic talent from all around the world, including Scotland, England, Italy, Greece, Denmark and the US. This international lineup confirms the borderless nature of Werra Foxma, and we are incredibly proud to be in a position to be the vehicle for these amazing musicians.
