The Dohnavùr Remix Project has been the gift that keeps on giving this year. As we reported in our last issue, the call for remix submissions was so overwhelming that instead of one catch-all remix release, we decided to coordinate the remix albums based on the original Dohnavùr releases.

We have already seen overwhelming love and support for the remix albums for You Can And You Shall and Pristine Environments, and the Concrete Animals Remixes is scheduled for release early next year.

Despite allocating over 30 tracks to these projects, we still had some amazing remixes that didn't have a home. We hope you agree that the caliber of work on display is worthy of any remix album you’ll find anywhere.

We owe a massive debt of gratitude to everyone who contributed to this scarcely believable collection of remixes from our wickedly talented indie electronic scene. We felt that it was only fair to shine a light on the talented producers who made this cover CD possible.

This entire album is staggeringly good, but my favourite is Slowly Coming Together, which does indeed seem to slowly distill all that is Jilk into one track. Amazing work, and wonderful to come across through the subscription library. swansither
